About_
Detak is a luxury atelier and thrift shop that aims to boost its e-commerce sales. The old website had usability issues and inconsistencies in the interface, resulting in a non-intuitive navigation flow and an overall unattractive experience for users.
Research
To enhance the Detak experience, we conducted in-depth research on user flows and purchasing journeys on the website. We mapped friction points and navigation difficulties, identifying usability flaws and interface inconsistencies. We used interviews, heatmaps, and heuristic analysis to support our decisions.
Challenge_
Transform Detak into an elegant and efficient platform, promoting a seamless and secure navigation experience to increase e-commerce sales and other services
Solution_
We developed a complete redesign of the platform, starting with low-fidelity wireframes to validate hierarchy and information architecture. We created a robust design system, ensuring scalability and autonomy for future implementations. The platform was developed in partnership with a full-stack developer, including security, payment integration, and an e-commerce content management system.
Results_
The new website provided a more fluid and engaging experience, resulting in increased conversions and user retention time. The implementation of the design system ensured flexibility for new features. Additionally, we expanded the services to include the purchase and resale of luxury items, restoration quotes, and consulting, enhancing Detak's value proposition.
